This potion can be used in a couple of ways, and you can choose which way will work best.

OPTION 1: Use It Yourself

During use, close your eyes and meditate upon the truth you are seeking. Imagine the person or people in your mind who you need to hear truth from. I do suggest using the full bar before approaching the person in order to give the potion time to work so that you will have the lapis lazuli stone to carry with you. If possible, try to be around the person shortly after using the soap so that the potion ingredients will be most potent.

When you have the opportunity, approach the person in a calm manner. You can ask them for the truth directly, or you can steer the conversation in the direction you are hoping it to go. While the person's own willpower does come into play here, this potion will help entice them to spill the beans.

OPTION 2: Give It To The Person You Want To Hear Truth From

While this is probably the most effective way to use the potion, there's difficulty in making sure that the potion gets used properly, regularly, and that you are around the person using it often enough for it to influence them to be compelled to confess the truth to you.

If you can monitor the person's use of the soap potion, this will be a good method. Bear in mind also though, that if you go this route, the person won't just be prone to tell YOU the truth. They may want to talk about it with anyone who will listen.

NOTE: When your person has used up the potion and finds the lapis lazuli stone inside the bar, you will know that time is running out.
